SHENZHEN International Airport will begin operating three new international routes in May, according to a Shenzhen TV report yesterday.

The routes include one from Shenzhen to Cebu, the second-largest city in the Philippines. The flight will be operated daily by AirAsia starting tomorrow.

The opening of the three flights brings the total number of international flights in Shenzhen to more than 40.
