SHENZHEN
International Airport will begin operating three new international
routes in May, according to a Shenzhen TV report yesterday.
The routes include one from Shenzhen to Cebu, the second-largest city in the Philippines. The flight will be operated daily by AirAsia starting tomorrow.
Donghai Airlines will operate an international route twice a week from Shenzhen to Vancouver with a stopover in Tianjin starting May 25.
Donghai Airlines will also open the route from Shenzhen to Darvin, Australia twice a week starting May 30.
The opening of the three flights brings the total number of international flights in Shenzhen to more than 40.
In 2016 and 2017, the city opened 28 international routes including some intercontinental routes to Europe, Australia and the U.S.
