AN exhibition showcasing China's achievements
in introducing talents from overseas in the 40 years since reform and
opening up will be held during the Conference on International Exchange
of Professionals (CIEP) this weekend.
The exhibition will be in Hall 1 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. It is set to mark the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up.
Also at the fair, the organizer will release the result of the vote for the 40 most influential foreign experts in China's 40 years of reform and opening up. Another result from a vote on the most attractive cities in the eyes of foreigners will also be announced at the fair.
The organizer invited more than 4,000 organizations, higher learning institutions, training organizations, human resources organizations and enterprises from 50 countries and regions to this year's fair. More than 8,000 foreign experts and high-level overseas professionals will attend the two-day fair.
CIEP has been accredited "China's First Talent Conference," targeting foreign experts, organizations and overseas professionals. The fair is spread across five halls, totaling 70,000 square meters, at the convention and exhibition center. It includes exhibitions, job fairs, matchmaking and exhibitions of projects by returned overseas professionals, and matchmaking for projects by software talents and investors.
More than 300 doctoral degree holders will bring their projects to seek investment through activities including contests and road shows.
More than 50 software institutes in China, 19 software talent training bases, and 200 IT enterprises and investment institutions will find opportunities through the matchmaking activities.
